What is the Role?

The Commercialization Product Management will be a member of Fraud Product Management Team, which is responsible for developing and bringing best in class product solutions to market that support Neustar’s clients and market needs.  The Director will be responsible for go-to-market and commercialization of Neustar’s new fraud concept and solutions specifically soliciting feedback on new concepts, completing GTM deliverables, acting as a product SME for newly launched products.  He/she will also be responsible for utilizing his/her industry, market and product expertise, to proactively educate the Neustar organization on market developments, emerging themes and partnership opportunities.

What you will be doing:

  • Solicit feedback on product concepts with industry analysists, clients, prospects
  • Interface with customer’s key stakeholders (including C-Level) and evangelize the value proposition of Neustar’s solutions.
  • Speak at industry conferences, webinars, client round tables and other events
  • Coordinate go-to-market activities including pricing, collaborating with Product Marketing, Sales for sales training and customer support escalation procedures. 
  • Train key resources including Sales Engineering on solution value and the overall market
  • Assist selling efforts for newly launched products/features joining sales teams on presentations with prospective clients to explain the solutions
  • Funnel feedback from internal and external stakeholders into product strategy and specific feature requests
  • Coordinate with product managers on prioritization of features and roadmap
  • Work with sales and account management teams to identify and cultivate alpha/beta customers for new solutions
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions with customers and internal product/sales teams to increase product/service awareness and knowledge across teams.
  • Participate in direct customer interactions, including travel (20-30%), when it is safe to travel again
  • Take a lead role in working with Product and Sales team members for responding to RFI/RFP’s
  • Author white papers and other reusable content with product marketing

What we would love to see:

  • Thrives at structured strategic thinking, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, and written and verbal communication.
  • Strong customer experience orientation with laser focus on user adoption and deployment
  • Ability to influence, communicate, and manage cross-functionally and across all levels (Including C-Levels).
  • 10+ years’ experience leading go-to-market, product marketing or product management for fraud use cases with tangible business outcomes.
  • Capacity to define & refine product requirements/features based on client and prospect feedback
  • Deep understanding of the value proposition of digital fraud products
  • End-to-end understanding of developing digital fraud (or identity verification) products and standard product development methodologies.
  • Experience creating products driven by descriptive and predictive analytics including Machine Learning
  • Comfortable leading teams outside your span control including product marketing, sales engineering, sales, technical product managers and executive leadership
  • Develop materials to educate internal and external stakeholders on new concepts and products
  • Willing to get their hands dirty by defining, creating and monitoring go-to-market KPIs that represent the full sales lifecycle (e.g. qualified lead, booking, revenue recognition).
  • MBA preferable
  • Pragmatic Marketing experience is a plus
